But lemme just say this...God bless you California, for growing these wonderful pistachios I am devouring as I type this.

Pretty sure they grow elsewhere as well mmmkoi. However, California does have fresh lychees....which are teh pwnages.

Of course they grow elsewhere, but California produces almost all of the pistachios consumed in the US. And I happen to be eating some right now.

Yeah, California dos have some good produce. In fact some say California rice is better than Japanese rice. Some say California wine is better than french wine. And when you drive through the central valley, salinas, and watsonville you can see anything and everything growing.

Some people say it is because the farmland has not been growing produce for centuries. I don't know. All I know is that there are some damn good road side fruitstands that have way better produce than the supermarket.

I never made a reference to the rest of the world, because I live in the US and the pistachios I am eating are from a state in the US. Crazy, I know.

Gas? Yea I guess it sucks.

Real Estate prices: Well that's how you have high quality of life

Crime: Maybe if you talk about Oakland, Compton and Richmond, but San Jose is the state's 2nd largest city and amongst the most populous cities in the US it has far less crime than any of its competitors.

Traffic: Only in LA. SF kinda sucks too, but that's pretty much it.
