California sues oil companies over fraudulent denying of global warming.

The US government heavily subsidies fossil fuels, as does the world. Federally we can start reducing those dollars to the US oil companies unless that money is used for funding alternative energy sources. Internationally the US is behind other oil companies researching alternate fuels. It's almost like US oil companies know fossil fuels are doomed, and rather than invest in new technologies they are just performing a massive money grab before they get out. Oh, they have a few windmill farms to be sure, but it seems like only token efforts to appear green.
