California residents, anyone get their money from Microsoft?

Anyone remember the class action lawsuit, where you could get certificates good for software or hardware if you bought windows or office within a certain timeframe?

They sent me the form with 4 things I had registered, and I added 3 more things to it that I had bought, but I haven't seen the money. Did anyone get their money or hear anything about it afterward?

I filled mine out right before I went back to school, so 11 months ago. However, I read about it several months before that. So over a year for some people.

Thanks, I hadn't been able to find that site again.

Perhaps by the time they get this thing figured out, the $1.1 billion will be worth a lot less

Okay I went to the site, can some one confirm what my understanding is.

If I bought a MS product between February 18, 1995 and December 15, 2001 for use in California I get a rebate off of things I buy now?!

Or do I get cash


English is my second language, plz help me.

You get a rebate, unless you send them a receipt for a new computer bought within a certain time frame, then you get cash. (IIRC)
