Florida's beaches p0wn3 j00!

At least, we (California) don't get owned by hurricanes.
You've got earthquakes instead, that's sooo much better

Really, depends on where you live and hurricanes occur way more often and do more damage than the earthquakes.

listing the possibility of a natural disaster as a reason NOT to live in a certain place is pathetic, unless it happens annually like uh hurricanes and tornados...

Earthquake = less houses near the coast = my house is now closer to being beachfront property = PROFIT!

Dude California's got San Francisco and the Beverly Hills/Santa Monica part of LA. The rest of LA is crap. And everything in between is rugged mountainous farmland. Went there for vacation two weeks ago and it was depressing going from SF to LA. Beaches are def. nice but that does NOT make it the coolest state.

Teen attacked by shark in Florida

Monday, June 27, 2005; Posted: 2:27 p.m. EDT (18:27 GMT)

(CNN) -- Another teenager was the victim of a shark attack in the Gulf of Mexico, law enforcement officials on the Florida panhandle said Monday.

The boy was in critical condition with severe injuries, said Christa Hild of Bay Medical Center in Panama City, where the boy was flown.

The teen was fishing with another boy on a sandbar about 50 yards from shore at Cape San Blas on St. Joseph's Peninsula when the attack occurred, WMBB-TV reporter Kira Mathis told CNN.

Laura Taylor, secretary for the Gulf County Sheriff's Department, said deputies were investigating.

Cape San Blas is about 95 miles southeast of Miramar Beach, where a 14-year-old Louisiana girl was killed Saturday in a shark attack.

it's the Yankee fan syndrome. They just don't realize everyone else hates them moreso.

BTW, I was in Cali (SF & SD) a couple weeks ago. 3 earthquakes, a tsunami warning, and June gloom. Great.

You must be right, i mean you came here for two weeks, you must know more about CA than a person who has lived in CA for 15 years!

🙂
