But think about it, it's prison. You are alone (unless you happen to know some of your prisonmates, which is very possible if you have been in and out). The prisoners tend to segregate themselves. You see the whites with the whites, the blacks with the blacks and the Spanish with the Spanish.

There aren't very many people from Spain in California. People aren't Spanish just because they speak the language. Are you English?
