But the 2nd amendment? nope, that does not apply.

My apologies then, I was assuming this was some e-mail chain forward to stir pro-2A people up and not that at least some CA Politicians have completely demonstrated they're unfit for office. Pretty rich coming from a guy coming from Chicago, the place with the strictest gun laws and some of the highest per capita gun homicide rates...
 
Alright gun guys I have a question what's the fear about banning non standard ammo like armor piercing? I get the idea that arguably hollow point ammo can be used for hunting but AP rounds? Do rounds that are designed to penetrate armor have any purpose other than penetrating armor?

Hollow points main use is self defense. They tend to have less penetration than a full jacketed round. One of the reasons they are meant to be self defense is because they don't go through things (people, walls, etc.) as easily. When they mushroom out they slow quite quickly. I know a few people that hunt and none use hollow points except maybe some hollow point .22.

They will stop at muskets and then limit the size of your ball pouch (that sounds horrible).
 
Wow, fuck that and I don't even own a gun. An ammo database wtf? And I thought CARB was the gestapo, but this really takes the cake for over regulation.
 
All it takes 5 supreme court justices to say that the 2nd amendment doesn't say what it says. Anybody who cares about gun rights can't vote Hillary.
