My next (80%) build. I can then use 30 round mags.

What in the fuck? That looks horribly uncomfortable. The best part about the AR is the easily changeable pistol grip... why would you take that away? Are you mounting it to something?

With a fixed stock, no pistol grip or flash hider, you don't need the bullet button and you can use high cap mags.

Actual stock I'll use:

So I'm looking online in search for a new gun. Got my eyes on a Glock 19 with case, night sight, and 3x 15 round mags. Then I read the description and found out the seller won't ship the 15 round mags to California. Did some research and found out California banned 10+ capacity magazine back in 2001. WTF!? I need to move to Arizona.
Oh, you'll like it in Arizona. Just stay away from Safeway.

There is the military, and then there is the militia.

The citizen militia is the last line of defense against a foreign invader.

lol shit like this cracks me up. If someone was powerful enough to destroy our army your pistol ain't gonna do shit. Most likely way your gun ever gets used outside of the range is someone breaks into your house when you aren't there, steals them then kills someone in a car jacking or robbery.

I'm not going to try to change your mind since your only line of reasoning is "Guns don't kill people, people kill people". That's a great line. Really impressive critical thinking there.

I would suggest you at least become familiar with the issue of gun violence and then make an educated opinion on the matter.

Haha, you people are funny

Tell that to one of the thousands of Americans who died in Iraq after the country's military surrendered.

One option is to get a gun that doesn't take large magazines in the first place, like a 1911. Part of what makes 9mm handguns worth it is their high capacity (to offset their lesser stopping power). With a 1911 (or a revolver for that matter) you're getting the same gun you'd get anywhere else.

Besides, revolvers and 1911s are just cooler.

Yep they certainly prevented us from invading...

Don't get me wrong, I'm pro guns. It's too late obviously the cat is out of the bag, there is no going back and I don't think we should. Guns even the scale so even a child can kill an adult. Being a brute gives you no advantage on someone with a gun.

A criminal is a criminal. I agree. It's not good logic though. Many people commit crimes of opportunity. That is to say that your normal run of the mill person wouldn't steal from someone but if they saw someone drop their wallet with hundred dollar bills sticking out of it they would be tempted to keep it. Many would keep it. They're a criminal though and stealing. Right?

Same thing applies to guns. Given the opportunity to commit a crime with a gun it is much more tempting than without. I'm sure there's some kind of psychological reasoning behind it considering that a ranged weapon is much more detached from the situation than a knife or bat would be. So you're poor and need to rob the corner liquor store for $12.91. Do you A) run in there with a knife or B) run in there with a gun? Do you believe that the crime would be committed regardless? I don't.

Iraqis with guns is why securing Iraq is so incredibly difficult, and the people who run the military know this.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Shinseki
As Army Chief of Staff, General Shinseki testified to the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee that "something in the order of several hundred thousand soldiers" would probably be required for postwar Iraq. This was an estimate far higher than the figure being proposed by Secretary Rumsfeld

I love the government. Instead of listening to a general who has been doing this for decades, they listen to the secretary. The only valid excuse for listening to your secretary is before a blowjob. After you bust a nut in her eye, you can take back everything you promised then listen to the general.

Blame G.W., the guy was incompetent in almost every way.

Barrel Shroud (a.k.a heat shield): Something placed on your barrel to prevent injury from burning yourself.

Wanted banned because some criminals had it on their guns. But she didn't even know what the hell it was.

Whats a barrel shroud? Hmm lets see, assume I don't know what that is, lets use some critical thinking skills. Barrel Shroud. Hmmm, Barrel? Let's see, it's typically on the FRONT of the gun. Ok. Now, Shroud. Hmm. What does shroud mean? To cover. Oh I got it! Barrel Shroud. Something that COVERS the Barrel that is located on the FRONT of the gun.

Sadly, Senator McCarthy did not use critical thinking skills. "It's the Shoulder thing that goes up". And what's even more sad is that idiots like this are the people who make our laws.

And last I checked, a barrel shroud or a pistol grip doesn't make a gun anymore dangerous.

And I love it when people try to play the NEED game. Well, why do you NEED more than 10 rounds? Ok, I can play that game, why do we NEED lots of things? Why do we NEED BMW's? I'm sure a Camry would get you from point A to point B. Better yet, why do we NEED cars? Wouldn't a Horse and Buggy work? Why do we NEED HD Tv's? Can't you watch TV on an old tube set? We don't NEED any of these things. They are luxury items. But this is America, since when do we only have things that we NEED?

Shooting at the range is a pain in the ass when your stuck with 10 rounds and have to reload every 5 seconds (literally). And why should I be limited to 10 rounds just because some criminal had more? Punish the criminals, not law abiding citizens. Laws don't and never will stop criminals, hence why they are criminals. It's really not a hard concept. And the 2A doesn't say "The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.......as long as the magazine has a capacity of 10 rounds or less."

Yes. Guns exist to be shown off as a fashion statement and should only be used if you're a skeered southern Californian around the time of the LA riots. Everyone knows this.

Handguns exist to be concealed and/or worn on body. Sticking a 30 round mag in a Glock makes it impossible to use as it was originally intended. Even an idiot should know this.

A clip isn't a magazine.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kS8GzWl78g

These guys are pretty informative if you watch their other videos too.

"Keep your booger finger off the trigger until you're actually aiming at the target..."

What an annoying dumbass.

This is a magazine you fucknut.
