The problem with Fontana in August it is just one degree cooler than hell, and the smog is so bad you can scoop it up and eat it. I stay away from the 909 myself, unless it has been wet and cold winter and then I drive by on my way to Big Bear.

If you can tell me where to drive on a track for a mere $20 bucks any day, than maybe this is not a hot deal. But I have been racing on the track for the past three years, and I have never been able to find an event for less than $100. Especially with the big oval configuration on the California Speedway.

In fact, just for driving in the inner track at California Speedway (no oval) in two weeks, I will be paying $200 for the weekend.

Also, the last time I was at the vintage race at California Speedway, the entry fee was $30 per person per day. How can you tell me $10 for an entire weekend is not a hot deal? Let me know when you find a better deal than this.

Forgot to mention that you will only get this deal if you bring the PDF flyer that I posted.

I thought they had changed the layout for the summer to the road course. I was there a month ago, and I thought they said they would have the road course set up until NASCAR season or until the end of the summer.

And is the $10 entry fee just to walk around and gawk? Do you get to drive flat-out on the track or just do the Sunday driver thing?

The $10 entry fee lets you watch all the vintages races, walk around, and gawk. I don't know if you get to drive flat-out on the track. I have never drove on the track at this event in the past.
