Pretty sure its older than that so I don't know what your point is. QAnon is just reframing all the old conspiracy theories to the modern situation, its not like this isn't known to anyone who knows basically any conspiracy theory that existed prior to QAnon and also any basic claims of QAnon. Curious if this guy turns out to be psychotic. It's one thing to believe that there are people out in the world who are lizards. I'm convinced that most major conspiracy theories are influenced by popular culture. Another example is the X-Files story line involving microchips being implanted by way of a smallpox vaccine. The conspiracy theory was either unknown or obscure prior to that series. Such a great idea that was, creating primetime story lines which cause certain people to become paranoid about vaccines.

I guess in the case of "V" there wasn't much they could do about it. Create a series about reptilian aliens appearing as human as pure escapist entertainment. Who knew that people would promote conspiracy theories suggesting there are actual lizard people and that people would actually believe it.

Visions? He's either setting up an insanity defense or he's actually insane. I lean towards the latter because if he's just setting up an insanity defense, then he's concealing a different motive. What other motive would he have had for killing his own children? He barely even tried to get away with it.

Those things are not mutually exclusive. If the vaccine/microchip CT is rooted in television, one need only make the right people the perpetrators to add the political dimension. Same with lizard people.

I get what your saying, But I'm still going with that whoever drummed up the Qanon CT were not sitting around watch episodes of the X files and suddenly a light bulb went on. I think the main idea was to "own the libs" and a hatred for the other political party and their fellow countrymen to whom they refer to as "the libs". They may have added on with these other CT's already in circulation, but that's not the main reason for Qanons creation IMO. Also....The statements have made mention that this guy didn't even know of the serpent people CT until he started going down the rabbit hole of Qanon, so there's that.
