I just checked to see if i own any more money for cc and they are charging me the addtional $84 after they passed the budget. Anyone one know if it's legal for them to force us to pay additional fees after we already paid for fall semester when it was still $11

Who are you going to take it up with if it's not? Yo're going to fight the state of california over $84?

Anyway, as classes haven't started yet, I think they can do whatever they want to the prices. You're free to drop classes and ask for a refund if it's too expensive for you.

Yes its perfectly legal.

And damn it Im tired of you CA folks whining about a small increase in CC tuition, when most of the nation already pays $30+ per credit hour at CCs.
