I'm not entirely certain that this is a valid issue. Lithium batteries have their own governing circuits that prevent them from being over and under charged that are present inside the battery case and are independent of the laptop.

The cutoff circuit in a lithium battery prevents the 3.7 volt cells from going under 3.0 volts under load, which would ruin them. This is based entirely on voltage and requires no calibration.

The only thing that could be affected by calibration is your laptops tendency to, for example, go to hibernation automatically when the battery level reaches say 10%. So if it's not calibrated, the battery level could actually be 18% and it will hibernate early.

This is not an issue, because you can change those settings. You can turn off hybernation altogether, or set it for 2%, or whatever.
