This might be the wrong forum for this, hopefully not!

I'm currently using a droid phone and my wife is using an iphone 3gs. I'm looking for some sort of calendar app that'll let me and the wife sync them up together. With the kid's activities picking up, half the time I'm not aware of what's coming up for the weekend.

any ideas would be appreciated!

I assume you have a Google account.

Create a new calendar:
https://www.google.com/calendar/render?tab=mc&pli=1
Call it something like Family Events, share the calendar with her (bottom of page), and give her full permissions.

Then make sure it's synced to her iPhone as above.

Either of you should be able to add events to that calendar either on your phones or on the web.

This is exactly what I do for our family. We have our own individual calendars as well as a shared "home" calendar. Set up whatever calendar app/widget to pull from whatever calendars you want, and boom, done.

Best part is that I have the same view from my phone, tablet, and browser.

Agree with what others are saying. We have a Google calendar called 'Family', anything that we want all to see, we put on there. Works great.

Yup, we've been doing the shared 'Family Calendar' on Google, too.

I didn't discover that I can email myself calendar invites from outlook to gmail until last year. Now I use google calendar all the time. I need to setup multiple calendars but so far my wife and I only share one calendar.

Google is really making their products sticky so i will not switch.
