Does anyone have any expirence with the Casio FX2.0? How does this calculator compare to the TI and HP graphing calculators?
It has a much more attractive price tag and appears to have all the same features. Im in college and looking for a calc that will last me for awhile and was planning to buy the FX2.0 but im leary since all i hear about are TI and HP.

Thanx in advance for any info you have on the subject.

Get the TI-89, it has more features than you will ever use. If you have to take multiple semesters of calc, this will be great. It's also easier to use than HP.

I have an HP-48, and I love it. We were required to get the HP, if we didn't have a graphing calculator. At first it took some getting used to with the RPN way of performing calculations, but once I got used to it, it seemed a lot easier. It's very hard for me to go back to anything else. I've used it since my Freshman year in college ('95), and I'm continuing to use. I'm sure it will last far into the future. I've looked at the HP-49, but I don't know if it's any better. I think they removed a few things (possibly the equation library if I remember correctly).
