[mindless rant about a mind-related subject]THAT SUCKS!!!

282 DOLALRS... YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! @ A FRIGGEN COMMUNITY COLLEGE!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh [\mindless rant about a mind-related subject]

Then again, at my old school each CREDIT was $450

<....feels better now

Still, I can't pay for the class.....I guess I'll have to wait for my next two paychecks and just sit in the class and hopefully the teach will let me participate...

lol I paid $280 total for a 3 credit course at the community college here this summer. Though, at the same time I paid $1454 at my regular college (close to home) for a Calc 3 course which was 4 credits ($333/cr + fees) ... blegh. But I did get an A, in calc3. :D

You think that's bad? My tuition bill for a four-credit psych class during a spring HALF TERM was $1300.

Have you checked with them that they need the entire payment before your actually 'enrolled' in the class? At my regular college, a few of the kids in my calc3 class didn't have their accounts paid off until the last week of the summer course and the college was fine with it. As long as you paid before the last day of class, they didn't care.... Give them a call to make sure they'd let you do that, so then you wouldn't have any problems at all waiting for 2 paychecks..

Yet another post by me... I just looked at your profile and noticed your location states philadephia, PA..... are you taking this course at CCP?

Buck's is cheaper if you know someone in the buck's county region that'll let you use their address. That's where I took the 3 credit course for $70/credit...

You're bitching because you have to pay $282 for a course? You should be thankful, that's mighty cheap.

At my CC, a five credit course is just over $500! You've got it good. Thank your state's legislators and taxpayers!

Why would the professor let you sit in? There's a limited number of seats in the class. Wouldn't you get dropped automatically for not paying, so someone else can register?

Here's what really sucks....

because this is the summer term...the class is only 6 wks long

This'll be fun :frown:

Also somehting hilarious (today was the first day of class):

when the prof was doing problems on the board...he got them ALL wrong...we were correcting everything....

Guess "The best way to learn something is to teach it" really applies here

The teach seems like a good guy though...I'll leave to a bad first day
