im trying to figure out this problem and i'm having a little trouble integrating
Find the volume of the solid generated by revolving the region in the first quadrant bounded by the coordinate axes, the curve y=e^(-x) and the line x=1 about the y-axis.
I've gotten to this integral:
2pi (the integral from 0 to 1) xe^(-x)dx
can anyone help me out?
i'm not sure what to do with the 2 pi
