the game just zooms out the further you get away by like a whole... head. Really, that's about it. The actual playing zone is always the same size regardless of your resolution, and the only thing you would really miss is some space at the top which doesn't really do anything. The camera moves upward when you jump anyway if one opponent is much higher than the other.

tl;dr : Bigger resolution doesn't mean anything in this game.

Except all the 3D stuff is rendered at HIGHER resolution. Pretty startling difference. 😱

Not really, it's not like they get better textures, or change in a way that is noticeable. It's just rendered at a higher resolution. Does absolutely nothing for the gameplay and thus, completely forgettable.

No higher resolution textures, but at least I can see the textures clearly. You can have the best textures,, render it in low res, and it'll look shoddy.

Resolution makes a huge difference, probably more so than any other tweak you can do. 😱

Crack the game and it will work, you can still enter your GFWL key and play online. You might just have to log in every time you play though.

Of course. when was the last time you ever paid attention to the backgrounds? I don't think I actually know what any of the backgrounds looks like other than the color scheme of it.

so is this only available via warez, or has the PC version actually gone up for sale somewhere?

What is the GFWL key?

This thread fails. I had absolutely no clue as to what type of game you were talking about until someone posted screen shots.

My bad,,, 😀

It's not JUST a fighting game, it is THE fighting game,

The most visually awesome 2D fighter for at least 3 more years. 😱

Hey, are we talking about BlazBlue here? I've been mouth-watering over the console screenshots for a long time now. Has it ACTUALLY been released on PC ? If so, where can I buy it from? Any possibility of a STEAM release?

Yes, we are talking about BlazBlue and yes this is actually out on PC. Mind you it is the first game, and not the newest one. You can only get it from European retailers, there is no steam version.

This bites. I can probably get my hands on the EU version, but I really wish they would release it on STEAM.
