arrigton is a damn good rb though, the qb is really good too

Cal did really well! They played a jauggernaut on home turf and could have won it, despite errors.

Cal had bad luck with some guffaws and USC always had the good luck to start at the 43 yard line on average in starts.....yet still Cal could have won it. That missed field goal also was a guffaw.

Cal deserves a lot of kudos. They can really hang with the BEST of them mano a mano on their turf.

They are definitely one of the best teams in the country and ON PAR with USC.

These two teams are very evenly matched.

I hope this rivalry goes on for a while. We need PAC 10 teams to dominate the rankings for while!

cal so dominated they should have won but they didn't. too bad for them beating sc would have made them contenders.

Didn't most of Cal's starting from last season come back?
It looks like the entire USC roster is made up of freshmen. Just wait until next year when USC matures and Cal graduates 1/2 their starter...hehe then it will be an interesting season

i agree

really good game, cal played really welll, i think even with the loss they are definetely a top 10 team. pac10 is very strong i think this year with usc, cal , asu, atleast till this point

usc is weak in a lot of areas, mostly coz its young, but its good they are pulling out wins, once they wide recievers mature they should be even better
