My friend hung out with that fighter a few days before that. There's also a bunch of bad LSD going around here in Humboldt county, if you haven't read, some guy chopped his balls off and flushed them. Yep.

Wait, that's in Humboldt? I totally missed that. 🙁

I'm hoping to move back to Mendocino someday, but the drug problems in Humboldt, Mendo and Lake Counties just seem to be getting worse and worse.

Lake has meth problems, Humboldt seems to produce more that its' fair share of hallucinogens, and all three counties produce massive amounts of MJ. I'm pro-legalization at this point if for no other reason than the gang activity in Mendocino producing weed for export is destroying the ecology, economy and community. The fires two years ago burned tens of thousands of acres but the firefighters had problems getting into some areas because the growers had guards shooting at them even while the hills around them burned... They suck the rivers dry during these drought years while the vineyards, the last income-producer for a county that's about to have its' last library shut down, get more and more restricted on their water use because of scarcity...

What kind of response is this? We know it happened, but he was asking how was this possible from a logistics standpoint. Your answer? "It happened." WTF?
