caffeine

Anyone had that new Coke Blak yet? Thinking of picking up some today. The description sounds good but I'm sure it tastes like mule urine.

I enjoy them and ingest them on a daily basis... but I don't suffer withdrawals when I go without. So I dunno.

1st i ever heard about it. although i hate any kind of coke except cherry

I was, but I ran out of soda a few days ago, and already went through my withdrawl headache, so I think that for the moment I'm unaddicted. Kinda makes me think twice about buying more soda.

hellz yea! over 36-48 hours caffeine free induces withdrawls...not fun.

On a side note, caffeine was once on the list of drugs the gov't was going to ban...but it was never actually banned. Guess they had to leave us something....

Thats nice, caffine in general has no "real" effect on me as I neither get addicted to it nor am I prevented from sleeping no matter how much I injest. I can drink an espresso and go to sleep right away if I so choose, otherwise I could do work instead etc.. I don't believe I'll ever get addicted to any "drugs" like coffee or alcohol for example.

Contrary to popular belief, espresso does not contain a lot of caffeine. This is due to a small dose of beans (around 7 grams per shot), short extraction time (around 30 seconds), and typically darker roast (burns off caffeine). You'll get more caffeine from something like drip or press.
