I know that most ppl (including myself) need that good caffeine jolt early in the morning to wake up and on other occasions too. I absolutely hate coffee...id rather drink a fermented nugget of my own poop! (jk)

Anywho, my source for this jolt is coke... but i was wondering: coke is a lot weaker than coffee isnt it? does anyone know the specific ratio of caffeine from coffee to coke? i suspect its like 3:1 or something. thing is you end up having to drink so much coke that you feel full and all that sugar cant be too good far ya either...

Is there any solution? I wish there was like supercoke or something with like 2x as much caffeine as coffee!!! now that would be some nice $hit!! 😀

I used to have a link to a site that would explain a lot about caffeine. I'll see if I can't dig it up this afternoon once I'm back at my normal computer. Not that I terribly mind having to use a Sun workstation in the computer lab, but I do miss my list of favourites.

I worked at Starbucks for a while and the price depends on the size you get. short, tall, grande, or vente. It also depended on what part of the country you're in. East coast, West coast, etc...

generally for a cappuccino it went

1.50 - short - 8oz
2.10 - tall - 12oz
2.75 - grande - 16oz
3.50 - vente - 20oz

It's been a while so I don't remeber the exact prices, but ut was somewhere near those. Of course your value, if you want to quantify it, would be maximized by getting a latte instead (same price) but some peole like the froth. You won't believe the pickiness of some of the a-holes that frequented the store i worked in...

Yuck, all that crap at Starbucks is gross - who would want brown teeth and disgusting breath?? Almost as bad as smoking, IMO.

(All I think of is the gross teachers I had in grade school who had rotton coffee breath - and I reaffirm my fear of it)

I cannot stand coffee.. First thing every morning for me when I get up (which is usually around 5pm, since I'm a 3rd shifter) I drink a Coke.. If you want something with more impact, try Jolt Cola 🙂

did try a tiny 2 dollar red bull wanna be starbux can yesterday😛 expresso coffee and cream it said.. i guess it tasted ok but 2 bux for an 8oz can? hah! i don't think i got a buzz either😛
