Why do I feel like caffine has no affect on me or anyone I know? I see people drink coffee but they just fall a sleep, infact I can have a cup of coffee and just go straight to sleep no problems.

Oh yes. :D

Just picked up a bottle of "Keep Alert".

40, 200mg pills, all for $2.26. :D

Cheaper than coffee,... Maybe even home-brewed.

Most people do develop a tolerance to stimulants. Now I dare you to drink six cans of Red Bull and take about a gram of pseudoephedrine. You wouldn't sleep. You might die... but you wouldn't sleep.

no affect here... coffee doesn't do squat for me.

I do drink it on occasion for the warm taste... or iced coffee for something sweet on a hot day.

Your body has become accustomed to the caffeine. Stop taking it and you'll notice. I so rarely drink caffeine that if I have a regular soda I bounce off the walls. In high school I drank several sodas a day and they never bothered me. It's all about tolerance. Having such a big tolerance for caffeine that you no longer feel it's effects isn't something I'd be bragging about...

if you spelled caffeine right, you would have found it. ;)

ha, beat me to it :p

when I notice my coffee doesn't affect me any more, I make a habit to get more sleep for about a week or two, and don't drink any caffeine during that time, then I start again, and it works great :p

It only affects me to the point where not drinking any in a day will lead to some pretty bad headcaches. I am caffiene-dependent.

I'm wishing it would affect me this morning... up til 4am playing ghost recon 2, and now I'm at school, waiting for my son to get out of swim practice. Unfortunately, I didn't plan far enough ahead... it's McD's coffee, so perhaps it will be drinking temperature sometime tomorrow.

Caffine doesn't affect me at all except once I Had 5 cups of the best damn coffee during a one hour lecture (I love that crap that spits out of the 1965 coffee vending machine). After the 5th cup I was a tad "jittery" but that is the first and ONLY time caffine has hit me and I drink coffee/soda regulalry.

i used to think it didn't until i tried some expresso. i was almost shaking from it.

guess it's just that the amount in coke and regular coffee isn't that high
