Does it annoy anyone else that they have these huge, powerful engines, but are driven almost exclusively by old people that never go above 30 mph?

edit: ok, i made the title even more incorrect just to annoy bmacd....my little missing 'l' was annoying enough to him...I'll change it back in a little. :p

I'm looking for a 1977 Lincoln Mark V... 460cui V8 with ~220HP. Problem is, it has a nearly 5000lb curb weight and 12MPG. But rest assured, I'll be going over 30 in it :)

Not me. Perhaps they respect the safety and well being of the other people on the road? And they take their car to the track to show off their huge powerful engines.

EDIT: Haha, nice title:D

I remember reading somewhere that Cadillac is trying again to break the senior driver image. I know Cadillac used to be the symbol of prestige, not senior citizen driver. More power to them if they make it a symbol of prestige again.

whats a waste is their potential. nothing used to match a cadillac. they were at the forefront of technology and inovation, nothing was cooler then a caddy. first to have air conditioning and tons of other stuff. famous people like elvis bought them by the dozen.

now they are a sad company that sells boats to old people.

all very expensive luxury cars depreciate quickly - maybe that just shows their real value :) after all profit margins are highest in those cars
