I know this would probably have more place in the Video card Forum but I thought I would ask it here seeing as I thought I might get a littl more response.

I am building a computer for my company. If you have read any of my previous posts you would probably remember. I need some good benchmarks for CAD programs. (3d Software Engineering) I know Anandtech does tons of benchmarks but I never see any CAD program benchmarks. Any Engineers out there that can help me? I just need some Benchmarks to make my superiors happy. then im going to go with the system that I know is the best :)

I think the tech report include cad benchmarks or it might be ace's hardware. Basically tho any nvdia card is v.good for cad, and the rest of the consumer cards are OK (although kyro cards can be slow)

ok, thats kinda what I figured..... I was told to look up a little info on the Oxygen Cards. ever heard of them? I took a look at them but they seem to be a ton of ram stuck on a useless GPU. I figured that the Geforce 3Ti 500 would be a good choice seeing as it is a high end powerfull GPU.

The geforce cards are very good, even an mx is worth using in cad. I use a GTS Ultra in acad and Pro-engineer and its performance is excellent
