For my floormate's insect course, he was given a small plastic container with a small cacoon in it. About half an inch in diameter. It just hatched tonight and its unbelievably big compared to the size of the cacoon. I don't think it likes it in the plastic container which is very small and does not provide adequate space for it to fly around. Now, I am thinking about freeing it, but than my floormate might fail the course. But the container is soooo small and I'm afraid the butterfly will commit suicide or break some bones or something due to lack of room. What should I do?
