Hi,
I'm new to the forum and I'm going to build a PC to edit video. I'm buying all the component s from Newegg but I've noticed that there's no cables to connect the various components together. Does anybody know what kind of connectors/cable I need to connect the components?
I believe OEM components come naked without anything, correct? I don't want to be left with a bunch of components and not have all the stuff to connect them to each other.
Thanks

Hey phorland,

oem hard drives and dvd/cd-rom drives, i assume are what your refering to, like you said do not come with cables.
Your motherboard should have all cables included, whether it be sata cables, ide cables as well as floppy cable. As long as you didn't buy an "open box" motherboard you should be fine, if you check the 'specs" of your new board @ newegg it should list whats all included.

Good Luck with your build.
