Do motherboards come with the cables to connect the cd drive hard drive etc? Or do you have to buy those sepratley? And would cables be considered hardware?

From my experience, every single "retail" MB I have purchased has always come w/ 2 IDE ribbon cables Confusednewbie1552 🙂

Retail MBs come with cabling, OEMs may not.
