I bought this Antec Cobra A26 Round 133 ATA Cable for $10. Its supposed to be better for airflow, data transfer then regular ide cables but it seems its making my mobo even more hot? This asus prog showed the mobo temp before was like 26c but after i put this cable in went up to 29c. Anybody know of some good rounded cables for k8v deluxe mobo?

Erm, in terms of aerodynamics, rounded cables are rounded cables.

Ditto again. There aren't any rounded cables that would be more aerodynamic than another.

I think the other missed your point, yes in theory a round cable will allow more airflow around it and help with overall cooling. I don't know if there is anything about the round cables that would have the MoBo run hotter, the only idea I can give you is a guess, and that would be the old IDE flat cable you had in there was positioned in a way that directed the air flow to the heat sensor causing that section of the MoBo to read a little coller than the rest of the MoBo.

Seems like the most logical conclusion to me.
