I've almost got the parts for my new rig. Still fretting over the mobo, but I'm almost there. Just have a few questions.

I'm going w/a sata hdd, so I'm going to need a power adapter. There's no voltage change to be concerned with, is there? I plan on cutting off one of my molex connectors and putting on a sata end, or doing a John Wayne splice w/the adapter leads.

I've got a raptor hdd, so I'm going to have to pay attention to my matx case cooling. A single device round (optical) ide cable would be nice, as well as an assortment of 40mm fans. North bridge, intake, and hdd mainly. Space limitations. Also a pci exhaust and an adapter for my 60mm case exhaust to raise it to 80mm. Fan grille would be good after I open up the exhaust hole. Maybe I'll just put a 90 degree fitting, externally, instead.

So what I'm asking is, other than my sata power concern, anybody know of a good online source for all of these small items? Sata power connector, single round ide cable , 40/60mm fans, fan adapter, and plain old grille. Looking for a single source, otherwise shipping will kill me.

Why not simply purchase a standard molex to SATA adapter?

That's what I'm going to do, except I'm going to splice instead of simply plugging them in. Cleaner. No step down in the power is involved, I take it?

bump for the Sunday crowd.

A single device, round, 10" ide cable is what I really need.
