Well right now, we live sort of out in the country, so we are forced to used satellite, as cable, such as Comcast, does not provide in our area. What are some other options we have for the tv. The reason is, the Satellite has been giving us a lot of problems lately. Is there any way through the DSL to watch tv or anything?

Not really. Verizon recently started offering cable over fiberoptic lines, but if you can't get cable, you certainly aren't going to be able to get this.

You're stuck with either Dish Network or DirecTV really.

Alright, that is what I thought. We have had dish for like 5 years now and it recently just started acting up (losing connectivity, etc) It has happened a few times in the past, so we are trying to look into an alternative. And about that Verizon fiberoptic thing...I have Verizon DSL right now. Why would I not be able to get that..

You would have to be in an area where they have rolled out fiber, of which there are not many.

Sounds like it might need to be re-aligned/re-aimed. Could also be an adjustment in the tuner/amplifier.
