cable split to video card?

TP

I just got a AIW card and want to run a cable line to it. I want to (if possible) split my line running to the TV in my bedroom, and have that line going to both that tv and my pc. can i buy a splitter that will do this? (i dont know the technical term for this)...

You've got it right -- a spliter is what you'll want -- you might need a couple extra cables to output to both tv and pc.

Check any store that has video tapes and a/v stuff -- Target, Wallmart, K-mart -- you'll find the stuff you need...

You might want to consider a amplified splitter from Radio Shack. Make sure you get the one that plugs into an AC outlet and has at least two inputs. I think they may have a model with more outputs too.
