Cable (RR) guru technitian needed...........

I had TXU DSL and although the download speeds where slower 1.2 down/205 up, I never had any problems connecting to any secure or regular web sites.
I decided to change over to TW RoadRunner Cable. Of course the speeds are twice as fast which is great buy I keep getting DNS unable to locate server errors in IE 6 on Windows XP Pro. Other than the change in TCP-IP settings of course there is nothing different. I even have a hard time connecting to Anandtech Subscriber servers. This is really getting annoying. I have tried rebuilding the TCP-IP stacks, I can ping my ISP's Dns and Gateway servers with no problems. Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? The techs at RoadRunner are useless, no offense if you are one 🙂 I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this.
