Okay, I've had TV-Out on a few graphics cards before, but never had a use. Just bought a new TV with DVD-Inputs. DVS's play great on PC, but want to run to my TV. Any idea where to find a cable to make this happen?

Samsung TV with rear DVD-inputs (three-plug)

What type of jack is the TV out on the card?
Probably RCA, or SVideo?

What is a DVD-input on the tv?
Are you talking about 3 RCA jacks (video and L+R audio)?

What sound card do you have?

If both the TV and card have Svideo just buy an svideo cable.
If card and tv have RCA jacks, buy an RCA video cable.

If your sound card doesn't have RCA L+R outputs, then you'd also need a convertor cable to go from 1/8" to RCA L+R.

I'm making this more confusing.

I assume that the "DVD-inputs (three-plug)" that you are speaking of is composite video and stereo RCA jacks(Red,White,Yellow). [Yellow=video; Red/White=Audio] Your vid-card has S-video out so you will need an S-Video to RCA adapter. These are about $10-$15. Here is an example:
www.svideo.com/svideorca.htmlFor the audio you can either continue to use your computer speakers or, if you wish to hear the audio from your television speakers you can purchase a 1/8" to 2RCA audio adapter. This cable will have one end plug into your PC's speaker jack and the other end to the Red&White RCA jacks on your TV. If this information was not clear please feel free to ask more questions.

Yep, S-Video on the card. Just checked the TV, it has a bunch of inputs!

It has an a Coax input, S-Video input, 2 RCA inputs, monitor-out, and a DVD-IN, which I've never seen before. It's labeled Y (green), Pb (blue), and Pr (red). New input, perhaps for progressive scan?

Sounds like a regular S-Video cable from card to tv will work.

Sound card = SB Audigy. Think I'll need that 1/8" to 2 RCA adapter, and L + R cables.

Thanks guys. That helped a bunch... :D
