Cable Modem with Switch + Wireless router

Should the switch be plugged in downstream or upstream of the wireless router? I currently have a Comcast cable modem (Motorola) with a D-Link DIR-655 attached to it. It works great and all that jazz but all four of the wired ports are full and I want to add a switch to the network.

I should add that I have the DIR-655 doing port forwarding and some QoS as well and would like to keep those settings and have them apply to all of the connections. thanks for your help.
