Hello all.
I have Atlantic broadband cable, and a Motorola 4100 SURFboard modem. I just had a line technician here, and the power level on the line is reading 46dB on his meter, but once the signal passes through the modem, the modem's status page is showing the dB level to be 55. Once the level reaches 58, the modem will kick off, and my internet goes out. Since it is my own modem, I obviously can't get a replacement from the cable co. Any suggestions on what I can do, short of buying a new modem?
