Cable disconnects

I have a motorola surfboard cable modem on a wireless network. It seems at least 3 -5 time a week it just disconnects and I have to unplug and re-plug the modem in and then it will work again for awhile. Sometimes it will last a few days sometimes a few hours, seems completely random. Any ideas?

Thanks

i had this prob and it was due to weak signal (internally). I ended up breaking off from where the cable comes out of the ground.. no probs since then.
Do you have satellite by chance?

To resolve this you have to connect to the Modem directly with one "normal" computer.

If it keeps doing it should be the ISP responsibility.

Otherwise there is No sure way to know and the ISP cab easily avoid responsibility if your system is Not the one that they endorsed.
