went to the PA Cabela's with the family today. what a mess! the place was packed and of course people have no fvcking clue. stopping in the middle of aisles, talking on cell phones blacking aisles, etc. i fvcking hate being in these places when they're like that.

the only thing i was interested in was the guns, mainly the pistols. well fvck if i could even get in front of the cases to look in. people blocking everything, little kids blocking everything. not to mention that if i even had a chance to look at the guns and wanted to buy one, it was like a 30 minute wait just to get the paperwork filled out.

The best way to go to Cabelas is to get there early in the morning, as soon as they open up. Of course, that holds true for shopping any time, really.

I drove past the one in Dundee on Saturday afternoon and the parking lot looked full. It was hard to see for sure since I was going by at 75mph, but it looked packed.

They've got some good deals on guns right now. XD45 for $430 if you can stomach the tan frame/black slide combo.

I might have to pick one of those up myself for that price.

The one in Berks County? I've been wanting to go there, but it's just too far. Used to work out that way, but never made it to the store.

yeah, its all the after-christmas stuff going on. i know cabela's had some big sales omn rifles this week and i bet thats why they were so busy there. but still, everywhere in the store was packed.

i went to a mall on tuesday and the stores were packed there. i went to a EB and gamestop. waited for about 10 minutes in line at EB. the line ran through the entire store and you could barely walk to get to any of the sections to look at anything.

They simply didn't have enough people working to cover the amount of customers in there.
