Nuts. Well the red half does include some pretty sweet coastal areas. I will just come into the nation of California illegally to visit Mickey. You should be cool with that right? You can call me an undocumented tourist.
Nah, you'll be part of the new American Union, which will allow travel across state lines for citizens of the Union.

heh, this is funny. I agree, but the difference is that Dems offered and implemented programs that honestly didn't or haven't yet worked them. Frankly, they aren't really intended to work in their current lifetime. It's a bitter pill, of course.

Republicans really only ever handed out moral platitudes and psychology lessons. It doesn't take long to realize that cutting tax breaks for the wealthy just concentrates that wealth rather than ever having it spread down. Supply side is basically just clogging your gutters with a pile of leaves and watching the water pool up on your roof while the grass at the base of your house just dies.

We'll just have to see if the Donald's brand of trickle down is ever more the failure than it has always been, I guess.

We have a a clear history of GOP presidents doubling, tripling the deficit, while dem presidents actually lessen the rate of spending. Obama's spending is double that when Bush left, but this is paying for two wars and an economic collapse that weren't his. Even Obama didn't raise debt to the same comparative levels as St Reagan. Doubling the debt during wartime and stimulus to bring a collapsed economy out of oblivion (and way better than it was before, way better than projected), sounds a lot better than tripling it during peace time and with a booming economy, as Reagan did. People don't like to think about these realities, for some reason.

There are some advantages to this. Cal. and others can pay for their mandates and the others can potentially have a fresh start. My property tax rate is among the highest in the 50 states, due to mandates. Rather than splitting NY off from the nation, allow the region including albany, NYC and others become a new state. We can have our own governance and see how each does. I suspect both sides would be just fine.

NY is tricky. Brooklyn would probably try to seceed as an independent republic over who makes the best pizza slice. The boroughs would be like Yugoslavia. Artillery batteries along the Jersey side of the Hudson. Sheer madness.

As per numerous articles I have now read . . . the design flaw that was present on the site when I first posted, has been removed.

My God man, the site has not been changed one bit, except for real time updates of Clinton's popular vote lead.

You are still laughably wrong when you think the shiny red check mark next to Trump's name means he leads in the popular vote. You were wrong when first you posted this, wrong when second you posted this, wrong when you tripled down on your mistake, and you're still wrong now when you now try to claim there was a design flaw that has now been removed.

Nothing has been "removed" from the site.
The design flaw is in your brain.

Would we have dogs and cats living together in sin?

If mexicans can brave how they get treated by half this country I don't think your friends would admit to being lesser men in the face of adversity.
I love California. Lived there for over a decade. California represents everything that is great and horrible about America. Financially, I got sick of being sandwiched between the 1%'ers who pretend to care for the very underprivileged they squash underfoot.

Everyone has their own interests to protect. Some though thought saving the rust belt with massive gov handout in large part out of their own pocket was an act of kindness, and paid the price for it.
