Torrance, like that whole area of OC is almost completely indistinguishable from every other little municipality in that area. You have to see the sign to know you are there.

Torrance is is the South Bay area of Los Angeles Country.
 
I've been to CA three time in my life, all briefly , less than two or three days each time. That was four times too many and a month too long.

I have no idea what region is what.

Torrance is right next door to me. I'm on the beach in Redondo Beach. Just inland is Torrance.

Say what you will about SoCal, but the South Bay is a hidden gem. Development was slower here because residents stopped the 91 freeway from ending directly at the beach cities. So the South Bay didn't turn into Santa Monica.

This a block from my house and the climate here is simply unbeatable.
