Z06, hands down. It's daily drivable, though I'd still prefer something else for that purpose just to help keep the miles off and reduce the urge to unleash all that power.

I voted for S2k and C6. Although a C5 Z06 and Lotus Elise might be interesting.

this is pretty dumb... why would someone buy 2 similar sports cars? if you can spoil yourself by doing that, you can probably afford the z06 too.

well if you got the S2000 i think you'd probably be annoyed at it for having about as much torque as a fisher price "my first hand drill" until you get the vtec system kicking in.

in the z06 you can go from 0 to like 175 or something in one gear. you could easily pootle round in 6th in smooth quietness when you dont wanna drive like a loon. can do that in the honda, tho the honda might be a nicer place to sit interior design and quality wise. but at the end of the day the Z06 is just so good you dont care than they spent about 49p on the dash board.

both cars are going to have horrendous ride quality on normal roads though, the honda might be a bit more supple, but its still going to be a bit jarring. normal C6 hasnt got the fabulous engine, but the suspension might be a bit more forgiving as well.

i think by getting the Z06 your getting a great car, by going the other route.....your getting two good cars, id rather have one great one...plus 7 litre 500Bhp = mucho respect

Well, pretty soon it's going to be a 1LT 6spd Atomic Orange C6 and my 6spd Brazen Orange GTO for me. Gotta consolidate.

Would you actually hit a track of any sorts with the Z06? Otherwise I just see it as rather excessive for about 99.2% of people.

A "regular" C6 offers nearly world class performance and won't beat the ever loving crap out of you when driving it on normal roads. Unless you are on a track I doubt you'd ever really be able to take advantage of many of the performance upgrades on the Z06 over the base.

And I just see a bit of redundancy having two 2 seater sports cars ('Vette & S2000).

A plain old 'Vette and a functional DD would be more important to me.

option C:

Ariel Atom and Acura TL for your daily driver. they would be right in your price range, and you'd get a lot more performance and a lot more comfort than the other options.
