C6 Corvette has pretty poor handling

I downloaded this japanese video from BT where they had a comparison between a few roadsters. Let me see if I can remember them. There was a porche 911 carrera, c6 vette, bmw z4, Lotus Elise, Mazda RX-7, and Mazda Miata. I don't understand japanese so I dont know what they were saying but from the videos of the run, the vette was just sliding and swerving all over the road. It received the lowest ranking according to the driver. The porche was on top followed closely by the z4 and rx7. I'm assuming they are only stressing handling and not raw power as you probably can tell the miata isn't even in the same league.

This doesn't surprise me in the least. For the power that the car puts out its handling dwindles.

btw, have you ever been in an rx7? it handles great but the ride is beyond teeth shattering.

although I'm not a big fan of domestics how do you put in a Corvette with these cars?
porche 911 carrera, bmw z4, Lotus Elise, Mazda RX-7, and Mazda Miata.

and then compare it's handling

We should already know that Domestics are only known for straight line performance

That I don't know as I did not make the video. I haven't seen very many c6 vettes but I don't remember them being all that big. Probably just slightly bigger than the rx7 and the z4.

by any chance the vid is made by Best Motoring?

I personally think they make biased car comparison (imo, just like Top Gear too, but that's a completely different argument). They always make the japanese car looks better. in the Last comparsion it was a Ferrari 360 lost to the NSX Type-S (not even the Type-R) by a widddde margin.

I dont doubt that there is some bias happening on some of their tests but in this particular one the porche did come out on top. I tend to notice quite a lot of bias in Top Gear for European cars over American and Asian cars.

Car and Driver had a test between the Z06 and Viper coupe. The Z06 had the edge in performance and refinement, but handling was very nervous with the stability control off. The Viper was much more forgiving and easier to drive on the track. Myself, I'd prefer a good, honest sports car that didn't need computers to cover up its handling faults.

Are 360 modenas that fast in the first place?
