C2D Overclocking, n00b question on LDT & FSB

Coming from the AMD camp, the the HT had to be adjusted down on my old board in order to raise FSB.

I have an nvidia 570 based Inel Core 2 board now and am just getting into OC'ing with intel. Does the LDT need to come down if raising the FSB?
