ASUS P5B-E Socket T

or

MSI 975X Platinum Socket T

Will be using an E6400, reasons behind choice would be good. Stability is number one factor, followed by speed. This will not be OC. If you have other ideas I am open to them as well. Thanks!

I haven't tried P5B, I have the MSI and is is very stable. No reboots or hangups.
The only one problem I just discovered isplaying a DVD Movie, the voices are garbled.
Music is fine. Not sure if its a mb problem or somethingelse yet. Other than that the build process was smooth and steady.

Using a E6400? For highest OCs P5B-Deluxe or the new P5B-E. For non-OC I'd say get the cheapest of the two assuming both have all the features you want in a mobo.

Sounds like the Asus is wining, Not planing on OC and they are with in $6 last I checked. I do like to hear that the MSI is stable, any word on P5B-E for stability? I had one Asus years ago and it was terribly unstable. I am assuming that things are better now.

Thanks for the input!

The P5B-E is a C2 version (2nd revision) of the P5B-D. Its supposed to be about the same in performance/speed but more stable.
