C2D compatability issue?

Anyone else having these issues? Since I built my new system I have been having bad luck getting games to work. I've only tried 3 so far. LOTR BFME and C&C Generals wont work. Unreal II The Awakening does work, and runs flawlessly.
I'm a little frustrated to say the least. I built this nice new expensive computer and my games wont work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I have latest drivers and tried updated the games.

Edit: Few things I forgot to add, When opening Generals, the splash screen comes up for a few seconds then goes away. Nothing else happes, no error msg. I get this error when I try to open BFME http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v636/jhh979s/BFMEError.jpg
 
Positive, but I guess I could try running the games with stock settings just to be sure. I dont have problems with anything else.
 
I've installed a few more games, The Sims and Starcraft. They both work just fine. Maybe its just an EA thing :disgust:
