I reversed my PS fan on my InWin A500 case about a year ago to aid in overclocking my 300a@450. Now that I've upgraded to a Celery II-566@850, I noticed that the Golden Orb sits right underneath the PS fan, which is blowing out.

If the Golden Orb is blowing onto the chip (I am assuming it is because it feels like it is), and the bigger PS fan is sucking air away from the Golden Orb, am I forcing it to work against itself?

Hmm, that is an interesting question. I never liked the A500's power-supply position in the first place and was glad when I bought an S500, which is oriented "normally." Got a Radio Shack digital thermometer or anything you could do testing with? You could wedge it under the heatsink and test both ways. The best test would still be the reality test: how's it working? Any suspicious crashes? If it ain't broke... ;)
