C.O.D are there any drawbacks??

I had a power supply delivered that was supposed to be a COD order. [UPS] The driver just dropped it off without asking for the cash. ($600) I called the supplier and they said I was paid up too! :Q

Damn delivery companies. They're like CPU's: they have weaknesses and strong points. None are perfect.

Cheers!

Johhine, take it from me: AVOID COD AT ALL COSTS

UPS, USPS, FedEx, WHATEVER. dont do it.

A: it costs more
B: if the customer is not in or they refuse the delivery you get stuck with the shipping charges

<---got nailed on $200 in overnight freight on bad COD's

if you have to, get a deposit up front. Also, it usually takes 3-4 weeks to get paid.

As seller, I always asked the buyer to send a fraction of the payment first as an indication of good faith.
