How much do you think all the other supermega suvs weigh?
The V10 Excursion is north of 6000 lbs, iirc.

I would have assumed that starting from 5MPH would always yield faster times.. I mean, wouldn't that be "cheating" more than from a stop?

Couldn't you "launch" just like you would from a standstill, except you would have a +5mph headstart?

dayum i'm wrong then....my parents bought a 2003 4runner...it does the 1/4 mile under 16 seconds too.....

it has a V8 but i cant believe a 2 ton+ machine could do it

it has less hp than the armada too
