C & C red alert for XP

I tried playing this game a few years ago on windows xp but XP didn't allow it to run, being incompatible and all. Is there any way I could start playing one of the greatest RTS games of all time again?

I remembered the game when a roommate stated that the halo2 soundtrack was the best soundtrack of any game and then I remembered the Hell March. 🙂

click explore
right click on cd drive disk is in
goto properties
goto compatibility tab
check box that says "windows 95"
install
enjoy

I just got to that but there is no compatibility tab. And do you need both cd's to install it?

I never had any luck running RA in compat mode.

umm, i just installed it on my xp pro rig last week....

I have it installed on this computer which is running Windows XP...

what kind of error do you get?
