GOOD DEAL! I just went out and bought Red Alert 2, with the 4-CD Soundtrack compilation! FANTASTIC!! COWABUNGA!!! Along with a Dave Matthews Band DVD. Everyone get on this deal!
I paid $44 from Outpost... I was too impatient to wait for the deals. I should have known.
Anyway, the game rocks! C&C is one of my all-time favorite games, and I had incredibly high expectations for Red Alert 2. They definitely delivered! They left enough of the original intact so that it feels comfortable, but added a TON of new features. Get it!

one thing is that it gets kind of choppy when alot of units are on the screen
i currently have a p3 700@875 and 384 megs of ram too
other than that, this is one of the sweetest games ive played in awhile. I still remember when red alert came out. I quit my job that day so i could go home and play it all week/weekend long.

NO!!! no more C&C...almost got me kicked out of school...those late, quiet nights by myself in front of the pc...ummm...i mean, uhhh...late, rowdy nights playing C&C with my dorm buddies...hehe, memories
yes the 20% off coupon is legit ,why do all posts regarding it have a few who think it's not ok , look it's a coupon , it's from BestBuy, they want you to come to their store and give them money, so give them some and get great deals .....
The coupon is 100% ledgit. It is from a Best Buy website, and they took it here with no problem at all.
Ah.. well I don't think I can be considered overly cynical for thinking that a coupon posted on a rage3d forum that links to some site I have not heard of may not be legit. I thought it was someone scanning it in, and not a pdf directly from best buy.

i brought the c&c:ra2 to the counter and showed the coupon, and the girl is like, "uhm, i have to get info on this." she goes and talks to some other employees and they're all staring at it, then says she doesn't think it's valid. i explain to her where i got it from (i even wrote the site down on the paper), so she asks one of the higher up employees i guess.
her: can he use this?
him: (without looking) no.
my friend: aw man, you didn't even look at that sh*t man.
him: (trying to be all gangster) what did you say?
friend: nothing man... nothing
i then explain to him again where i got it and how i had to print it out, and he's like "you need the original?"
short of going to whereever the webserver is physically located and stealing and bringing to the guy for proof of the coupon, i couldn't do sh*t, so i just was like, i'll pay for it, but i want to talk to the manager.
manager comes over after i pay and starts asking me the 411, then tells me they have no way of verifying this web promo and all this crap... yada yada yada. so i ask her if they have a internet connection to check the site out but she doesn't answer and keeps going on about how this is technically a copy.
so i'm like, whatever, i got stuff to do (in a non-violent way of course -- don't want any felonies or no more guns for me).
so i end up calling 1-888-bestbuy on the way home on my mobile while my friend drove my car, and i get on the phone with a rep (who sounded cute as hell!) and she asked for the site and i gave it to her and THE SITE WAS DOWN! CONSPIRACY!
so she was taking down my statement of the situation and all that and i told her what bb and who the manager was and she calls them up and talks to her supervisor, and basically, unless the site is up, they can't do anything about it.
cock-blockers! anyway, i ask the rep for the event number for my phone call so i can call back when the site is actually up and i took it down and that was it.
so i'm basically waiting till the site is back up so i can call back and get my 20% off.
note: this is not about 20% off. this is a lot of trouble to go through to get a few bucks off a pc game. to me, this is about principles. i feel like i got assed out by the bestbuy in san bernardino, california. there should be a list of the various online coupons available so they know that it's legit. i just hate that feeling of looking stupid when i tried to redeem a legitimate (assuming it is legitimate like everyone says it is) coupon.

thats a bum story Ocabj, thats one reason I cut mine out with a paper cutter so its looked like an orig coupon and used a high res printer....I bought klipsch pc speakers and red alert2 on two separate days and the only comment I got from the sales clerk was "what are these", and I said pc gaming speakers and he rang them up...( Rochester Ny store ) by legit I mean the codes are genuine and they scan on their terminals as a valid 20% coupon.........if anyone needs the pdf email me and I'll send it ( not the whole world please ).....

First guy told me he didn't know what it was and i told him it was a coupon i got online that can be used in the store and told him to scan it
it came up as 20% off but took off $0.00
he fixed it and gave my the discount
2nd time the guy told me that i had to have the original and i told him my bro in law sent me the coupon and it was legit. After a few minutes he finally gave it to me.
btw i printed this out on a hp 8000dn so it was pretty high quality

Thanks for the deal. Coupon worked for me. I picked up C&C Red Alert 2 and Unreal Tournament Game of Year Edition for a total of $40 after tax.
How can they have no way of verifying the coupon? I just used it, and I think the counter girl just scanned the coupon, and the register said 20% off pc gaming. Well, I THINK she scanned it, but I swear the reg said 20% off pc gaming.
