I've had this game sitting in my dresser for 2 years now, just finally got around to installing it yesterday, it's an awesome game. But, is there any way to bypass the level intros, they're not exactly long, but sitting threw them every time I loose is a pain in the ass.

 
What I do is to save the game after every intro.

For the actual game loading, if it is patched (as in not just a fresh install) then you can add -quickstart to the command line to skip some intro stuff when the game loads.
 
you can save after the intro? Man I would have never thought to try that! I really like the game so far, I have a pretty decent rig and the load times aren't the best. I couldn't imagine playing it on a rig when it actually came out.

thanks for the tip I'm going to try it right now, the intros had me wanting to bash my monitor in.
