Not sure whats going on. I've already tried a reinstall.
Both Generals and Zero Hour just freeze at that startup screen (the image). It says it's "not responding" and one of the CPU's is maxed out.

I have no idea whats going on. I know it's almost time for a reinstall of windows (I have way too much junk) but this has never happend to Generals.

Any Ideas??

UPDATE:
I've since formatted and reinstalled Windows. Generals and Zero Hour still freeze and that startup screen.

I've tried disabling one of the cores (affinity).
Has anyone else ever had this problem? And know of a fix.
I have SLI but I've already tried using Single GPU Rendering.

I really wanted to just play the game again. Please help.
Thanks :)

Edit2:
I've only tried the game on the XTreme-G 91.45 driver. Has anyone else tried it on this or other drivers? Maby that's the problem? I'll try installing the 91.37 then if that fails I'll fall back to a 84.37 driver.

Edit3:
I've tried the 84.37 driver and that did crap. I've since rereinstalled the 91.45 driver.

Well, the yes was for a solution to the problem. The system restore was the solution. It fixed my Oblivion and it can help sometimes. I wouldn't disable it if I were you.

Oh. :)

Well it can't help me here :p
Any other suggestions?

(anyone else ever had this problem?)

I'm just about to say screw it and re-format.

I have a 400GB RAID0 array running. I have 75GB free. The other 325GB is probably half junk.

Video Driver reisntall to 84.37 did nothing.

I'm really annoyed and out of ideas.

Well I finally figured it out.

If I just let it sit long enough (a few minutes) it'll just go by it's self. :)
